Kathmandu - The fifth edition of the Sahara Group Sagarmatha Music Awards will be held on Friday, 13 October 2023 (Asoj 26, 2080). According to the announcement issued by the organizing organization, the film will be held in the hall of BG Banquet´n Events Pvt.ltd. Gongabu.
165 artists from national, gazal, movie, modern, folk songs and pop genres are competing in the awards.
With the main slogan of 'Respecting Nepali art and artists, preservation and promotion of Nepali culture is our mission', the award organized by Artha Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has the cooperation of Tokha Municipality and Sahara Group has sponsored the title. Jyoti Bikas Bank is the presenter.
The four editions of Sagarmatha Music Awards have been successfully completed. In the awards, a Life Time Achievement Award will be given to one distinguished person who has contributed to the field of Nepali song and music, while a senior Art journalist will be given a Silver Journalism Award with cash and journalists who wield a pen in the field of art will also be honored. Purushottam Basnet, the head of the program, informed. The award coordinator Manoj Thapa informed that the final decision of the award will be based on votes and jury.
